A natural person is entitled to make a complaint about how Kalstone Legal Limited has handled your personal data or in relation to one of the Data Protection Rights set out in our online Privacy Notice such as:
- How your personal data has been collected, stored, used, shared or deleted
- The firm’s response to a subject access request or other data subject rights request
- The security of your personal data, including suspected data breaches
- The accuracy of your personal data held by the firm

- Your name and contact details;
- Your Kalstone Legal reference number;
- Details of your data protection complaint;
- Copies of any supporting documents or correspondence; and
- The outcome you are seeking
What Happens Next?
Stage One: Acknowledgement
We aim to acknowledge your data protection complaint promptly and in any event within 30 days of receiving it.
Stage 2: Investigation
Your data protection complaint will be reviewed by an appropriate member of staff who was not directly involved in the matter where possible.
We may contact you if further information is required to assist with our investigation.
Stage 3: Final Response
We aim to provide a full and final written response within four weeks of receiving your complaint.
If we require additional time due to the complexity of the matter, we will keep you informed of our progress and provide an updated timescale.
If you are not happy with the final outcome of your data protection complaint, you may be entitled to raise the matter with the Information Commissioner’s Office (‘ICO’). Further information is provided on the ICO website and the ICO’s contact details are:
