A Continuous Payment Authority (CPA) allows us to collect recurring payments automatically from your debit card at an agreed amount and frequency. Payments will continue until your balance is paid in full, your debit card expires, or the CPA is cancelled.
Using a CPA is a convenient way to make instalment payments, as you do not need to contact us each time a payment becomes due.
Please note, if you choose to pay by credit card then surcharges may apply.
The Terms
- You can choose a payment date that suits you, and we will agree the amount and frequency of your instalment payments.
- By providing your debit or credit card details, you authorise us to collect the agreed payments automatically under a Continuous Payment Authority (CPA).
- We will confirm the details of your payment arrangement to you in writing.
- We will not attempt to collect a payment before the agreed date. If the payment date falls on a Sunday or Bank Holiday, we may collect the payment on the next working day.
- We will only collect the agreed instalment amount unless the remaining balance is lower than the instalment amount, in which case we will collect the outstanding balance in full.
- If a payment is declined, we will try to contact you to understand the reason. If we are unable to reach you, we may make a further attempt to collect the payment later that day or on the next working day.
- If we do not receive the missed payment or hear from you, your payment plan will fall into arrears. We will continue to collect future instalments on the agreed dates unless the arrangement is cancelled.
- If payments continue to be declined, your payment arrangement may be cancelled and we may resume our normal collection activity until a new arrangement is agreed.
- Where permitted, fees, charges, or additional costs may be applied if payments are declined. We may also continue to contact you regarding the outstanding balance if an alternative arrangement cannot be agreed.
Your right to vary or cancel
You can change terms of the continuous payment arrangement at any time by calling us, or you may cancel the arrangement by calling us or your card provider.
